T&M Account Product Manager

Yokogawa Italy is looking for a T&M account product manager (North West Italy area responsibility) who will be responsible for:

  • Creating and realizing account and industry plans. Visiting customers to acquire relevant information on the customer needs, presents Yokogawa portfolio and obtain Request for Quotation (RFQ). Realizing order intake/sell products, in line with personal target and assigned territories and/or accounts, resulting in revenue/maximize margin.

  • Creating an annual sales plan (order intake/sales revenue and margin targets) in line with the Regional and Business Unit’s plans for the financial year including agreed tactical action plans, and calendar of events clearly demonstrating the actual progress made against plan.

  • Monitoring order intake/sales revenue, in line with agreed operational sales plan, with respect to expected monthly/seasonal expectations.  Maintaining 100% year- to-date performance each month with corrective actions should performance fall below on a year-to-date measure. Focus on order intake/sales revenue opportunities so the result maximizes margin result.

  • Managing and maintaining relationships with customers, in line with the operational sales plan and the agreed personal and/or team target, achieving an expanded customer base and assure customer satisfaction.

  • Visiting prospects and customers in line with identified sales opportunities. Identifying customer needs, ensuring effective demonstration of proposed solution, followed by quotation in line with technical and commercial guidelines; the use of CRM is a must.

  • Steering the internal organization to bring out the best proposal in which the customer requirements are translated into fit-for-purpose, competitive Yokogawa Solutions.

  • Continuously improving and maintaining technical and commercial knowledge.  Maintaining market awareness and market intelligence, ensuring feedback to sales, marketing, and management colleagues.  Using the resources of Yokogawa to expand cross-selling effectiveness.

 

 Requirements:

  • Electric/electronic background is necessary because the kind of products (Test & measurement electric and electronic instrumentation (oscilloscopes, powermeters, scopecorders, AC/DC power supplies, OSA, dataloggers)

  • Bachelor level education and 5+ years professional experience in a sales function.

  • Experience in operating at a tactical/multiple management level in contacts with customers.

  • Act as a consultant to customers or specific industries for strategic and/or large account management business.

  • A vision in the medium and long term to develop business.

  • A commercial responsibility following the guidelines and work procedures and suggests adjustments to the guidelines and procedures if necessary.

  • A native Italian speaker and have fluent English language skills.

  • Preferably resident in Milan or province
