The company has developed a unique synergy between its GaN device (WiseGan®) and a 32-bit, MCU-based, AC-DC, DC-DC  DC-AC  digital controller powered by Proprietary Firmware (WiseWare®), enabling chargers to be up to 3x smaller, 3x more efficient, and 3x lighter, with power ranges from 30W to 30kW. Wise Integration serves multiple markets, including premium consumer electronics, e-mobility, industrial applications, AI data centers, and automotive sectors.

Headquartered in Grenoble, France, the company operates globally, with a team of 30+ employees located in France, Canada, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Munich. To date, Wise Integration has raised €20 million from leading investors, including IMEC.XPAND, Supernova Invest, Applied Ventures-ITIC Innovation Fund, BNP Paribas Développement, Région Sud Investissement, Creazur, Casra Capital, and Angels for Greentech.

Position Overview:

The Board of Directors is seeking a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company in its next phase of growth, with the primary goal of accelerating commercial deployment and positioning Wise Integration as a global leader in  power converter technologies.[tb1] 

The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership profile, a deal-making mindset, and a strong experience in the Power Electronics industry to drive the execution of the product roadmap, accelerate worldwide business expansion, and prepare the company for its next financial milestone (Series B, M&A, or IPO). To ensure a smooth transition and maximize the company's growth potential, the new CEO will benefit from the close collaboration and strong support of Wise Integration's Chairman, Patrick Boulaud (former VP Products & Marketing at STMicroelectronics Asia), and current CEO & co-founder, Thierry Bouchet. Patrick Boulaud will provide strategic guidance and industry insights, while Thierry Bouchet, transitioning to an Executive VP role, will bring his deep understanding of the company’s product portfolio, roadmap, technology, strategic partnerships and operations. This collaborative leadership structure will provide the new CEO with a solid foundation to drive Wise Integration's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall strategy and execution to scale Wise Integration into a global leader in AC-DC converter power semiconductors technologies in close collaboration with the Executive VP

  • Oversee and drive the commercial deployment of WiseGan® and WiseWare® solutions across targeted markets to accelerate time to revenue

  • Budget, Forecast, P&L accountability

  • Develop and nurture strategic relationships with key customers and partners to drive commercial traction, ensuring alignment with and execution of a robust 5-year business plan.

  • Drive and oversee the timely execution excellence of the product development roadmap, ensuring alignment between R&D teams in Grenoble and Ottawa. while working alongside the EVP to ensure that strategic projects and innovation initiatives are properly structured and executed.

  • Ensure seamless coordination and collaboration between the R&D teams and the Field Application Engineers (FAEs) deployed globally to maintain technical and commercial consistency.

  • Lead and mentor a diverse global team, ensuring strong company culture and operational efficiency.

  • Strengthen the company's positioning in the semiconductor and power electronics ecosystem.

  • Prepare and execute the next fundraising round and explore strategic opportunities such as M&A or IPO in collaboration with the Executive VP.

 

Key Qualifications  & Requirements :

·         Master  degree in electronics/science (combined with MBA is a plus)

·         Minimum 15 years  of experience, ideally in minimum 2 different semiconductor companies

  • Extensive experience as a senior executive (e.g., VP Sales, VP marketing), Division General Manager, or CEO in the semiconductor or power electronics industry.

·         Strong business acumen with proven track records of commercial execution and deal-making.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Deep understanding of power electronics, GaN and/or SiC markets (consumer, industrial and/or automotive) and the competitive environment

·         Strong international experience (Europe, USA Asia) at least 2 regions

·         Ability to inspire and lead a global, multi-disciplinary team.

  • Experience in fundraising (VC-backed startup, IPO, M&A) and/or strategic business growth.

 

Location:

  • Preferred location: Grenoble, France.

  • Remote work is possible, provided that the candidate can spend 30% of their time in Grenoble.
