Project Manager - Engineering
Tasks
Project management and execution of customer supply systems for the semiconductor/photovoltaic industry
Handling of onsite nitrogen backup systems and bulk tank supply systems (nitrogen, oxygen, argon, helium, hydrogen, carbon dioxide)
Management of all project phases from concept to commissioning and handover to operations
Concept development and specification creation together with the Business Development and the Project Design Engineer
Align with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Implementation of detailed planning/engineering in the construction and execution phase
Costs and budget control as part of the commercialization process
Preparation of project documentation and handover documents
Independent project management (incl. detail engineering) for smaller projects/conversion measures
Selection of suppliers, obtaining quotations related to the construction/execution phase
Support of business development/sales as well as the operations team
Responsibility
Execution of projects on time, on budget and in accordance with quality
Communication at all levels during the project phase
Safety-oriented handling of projects (construction sites/contractor management)
Leading and controlling the project teams
Identifying, identifying and implementing standardization opportunities
Interfaces
Linde: LEL Engineering/Operations, TGM Teams, LG/LEL SHEQ, Business Development/Vertrieb, CES
External: Suppliers and customers on a technical level

Required Competencies
Several years of experience and expertise in project management
Understanding and communicating complex technical issues
Identify problems, derive measures and create and execute action plans
Adaptation of communication depending on the addressee (management, business development, customer, engineering)
Expertise and experience in the planning, design and implementation of systems
Experience with CAD systems (Microstation 3D, AutoCAD)

Required Qualification
Engineer (Master's, Bachelor's, Dipl.) in process/building technology, mechanical engineering or similar
Expertise in Cosnstructural Engineering and Project Execution Process
Good CAD skills (Microstation, AutoCAD)
Independent way of working and high degree of resilience
Good IT skills
Confident handling of MS Office applications
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
